My G.P/Gyno said because I have Pmdd I would need a Bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy as well. This is a procedure to also remove the Fallopian tubes and Ovaries.
On top of this she also said that there is an increased risk of heart disease amongst other contraindications because of these procedures. Wow! A lot to take in. Especially when you have convinced yourself that after 13 years of suffering with sometimes extreme symptoms for weeks on end, that this is THE ONLY way to rid yourself of this hormone induced hell.

I'm trying HRT next. You know the thing normally associated with old women (no offence) and the dreaded Menopause. Lets hope it's not just another thing, on a long list of 'options' in the didn't work pile.
