So my Hospital visit went well today and I learned something new. PMDD is an American term. In England (where I'm from) it's called severe PMS.
MAYBE: This is why I always have to explain what I have been diagnosed with to my medical professionals and maybe this is why this forum hasn't much traffic?!

No, it is called pmdd everywhere and is a much more severe condition than pms. You are probably just talking about it to people who don't know what it is.

I tried to argue this fact with the Gynaecologist at St James's but she stated it's an American term only. I am still using the PMDD tag though as that's exactly what it is.
She said they use the term...severe PMS. If only! That was from the Rosalind Bolton Clinic.
